Zillar Barta Desk: The latest ICC Men’s Player Rankings have witnessed significant movement following a busy period of international cricket, with several players rewarded for their performances across ODI, T20I and Test formats.
Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza has closed the gap at the top of the ODI all-rounder rankings. Raza moved up to second place with 276 rating points after finishing the ODI series against Australia as the leading run-scorer, while also contributing with the ball. His batting performances also helped him climb five places to 24th in the ODI batting rankings.
Australia’s Nathan Ellis climbed three places to 17th among ODI bowlers after finishing the series against Zimbabwe as the leading wicket-taker. Teammate Josh Inglis also made a major jump, rising 11 places to 30th after scoring a century in the final ODI.
India captain Shreyas Iyer moved up seven places to 22nd in the T20I batting rankings following India’s recent performances against Afghanistan and Japan.
England also saw substantial gains. Jamie Overton climbed 47 places to enter the top 10 of the T20I bowling rankings, reaching a career-best rating of 674. Will Jacks rose 35 places to 37th in ODI batting after his match-winning performance against Sri Lanka, while also improving in the T20I bowling and all-rounder rankings.
England captain Harry Brook also continued his rise, moving five places to fourth in the T20I batting rankings after finishing the recent series with 237 runs and being named Player of the Series.
The latest rankings reflect the impact of recent international performances, with players from India, Australia, England, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and other cricketing nations making notable gains across the three formats.
