Staff Correspondent, Zillar Barta Desk: An organizational strengthening programme was held at Suryakiran Bhavan, near Lalpol in the Naiya Para area under Diamond Harbour Municipality, with the aim of strengthening the Congress organisation at the grassroots level.
The programme was attended by Kiranji, Secretary of the All India Congress Committee and Observer for the South 24 Parganas district organisational drive, along with Rohan Mitra, Congress Observer for South 24 Parganas.
Also present were Md. Nurul Islam Haldar, Vice President of the South 24 Parganas District Congress, as well as several office-bearers and organisational representatives from different blocks and anchal levels.
During the programme, discussions focused on strengthening the party's organisational structure, improving coordination among grassroots workers and expanding the Congress's presence across the district. Party leaders also emphasised greater participation of workers at the local level and the need to strengthen the organisation ahead of upcoming political activities.
The meeting brought together representatives from different levels of the organisation and provided a platform to discuss grassroots-level challenges and strategies for further strengthening the Congress in South 24 Parganas.
